What earns the 8.2: a real company behind it, clear legal policies, cheap annual pricing and a free sample big enough to judge before you pay. What keeps it from scoring higher: tokens on top of the subscription, tokens that expire when you leave, and a refund window that closes after one day.

What is Candy.ai?

Candy.ai is an AI companion platform for adults. You pick or build an AI girlfriend, chat with her, generate 18+ pictures and video, and watch Candy Shorts, a library of vertical adult micro-series where episodes mostly run 1 to 3 minutes and end on a cliffhanger.

Every character on the platform is AI-generated and fictional. Some series feature licensed “digital twins”: AI likenesses of real adult performers who licensed their image to Candy.ai. That list includes Riley Reid (7 series), Mia Malkova (4), Lexi Luna (3), Bonnie Blue (3), Asa Akira (2) and Sophie Dee (1); see the Riley Reid digital twin for an example. Recurring faces like Margot Vey or Diana Demont are AI characters, not real people.

The platform is operated by EverAI Limited, a company incorporated in Malta. More on what that means for legitimacy below.

Candy AI features: what you actually get

This review doesn’t grade chat quality message by message. It sticks to what can be checked: what each feature is, and whether it’s free or Premium.

AI girlfriend chat

Every character has a profile on candy.ai, and you can message her directly. Free accounts can start chats with a message limit; Premium removes it with unlimited text messages. Chat also ties into the series: during or after a Candy Shorts story, you can carry things on with the character one-on-one.

18+ image and video generation

This is the NSFW engine of the platform. Premium includes 18+ image generation and 18+ video generation, so adult pictures and clips of AI characters are part of the subscription. Free accounts don’t get these tools.

Create your own AI girlfriend

Premium lets you create your own AI girlfriends instead of only choosing from the ready-made cast. If the stock characters aren’t quite your type, this is the feature that fixes it. The plan page also lists a “full live action experience” among the Premium perks.

Candy Shorts

The most binge-friendly part of Candy.ai. The official library holds 182 series (165 public and 17 Spicy) and 1,033 episodes, 331 of them free. Categories cover Stepmom, Stepsister, MILF, Wife, Taboo, Fantasy, Nympho, Cuckold, Teacher and Maid, all fictional role-play between AI adults.

How much does Candy.ai cost?

Candy.ai runs on Premium plus tokens. Premium costs $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan (billed $47.88), $8.99 a month on the 3-month plan (billed $26.97), or $9.99 for the first month and $13.99 a month after that. Checkout also offers biweekly ($9.79) and weekly ($5.60) payment options.

Premium includes 100 tokens a month. In Candy Shorts, episodes 1 and 2 of public series are free, and later episodes cost 12 tokens on most series and 30 on some; Spicy episodes cost 30 or 50 tokens after the first two. Is Candy AI worth it on price? On the annual plan, yes: $3.99 a month plus 100 tokens covers two standard 5-episode series (36 tokens each) with 28 to spare, on top of unlimited chat and the 18+ generators. Monthly at $13.99 is a much harder sell unless you only need a month or two.

Is Candy AI legit?

Yes. Candy AI is legit in every way you can check from the outside: a named company, a real address, published legal policies and a working product. Here’s the paper trail:

• Operator: EverAI Limited, incorporated in Malta, Malta Business Registry no. C107181.
• Address: 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll, Santa Venera SVR 1833, Malta.
• Support: support@candymail.ai, plus a help center hosted on Zendesk.
• Legal policies: Terms of Service, an underage policy, a content removal policy, a DMCA policy and an 18 U.S.C. 2257 exemption statement.
• Age rule: users must be adults, 18 or older.
• Licensed performers: the digital twins of stars like Riley Reid and Mia Malkova are AI likenesses the performers licensed to Candy.ai.

Fly-by-night operations don’t usually publish a registry number, a physical address and a DMCA process, or strike licensing deals with well-known adult performers. That doesn’t make every pricing choice friendly, but it does make Candy.ai a real business you can hold to its own terms.

It’s also clearly a maintained product, not an abandoned shell. The Candy Shorts library we sync several times a day currently shows 21 series with the official “New Episodes” badge.

Is Candy AI safe? Payments, billing and privacy

Is Candy AI a safe website? In the way that matters most, yes: you’re paying a registered company through a normal subscription checkout. The risks are the usual subscription ones, plus a few rules you should know before you enter a card.

Payments and auto-renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same price and term. The monthly plan’s $9.99 intro price renews at $13.99.
• You can cancel any time in your account settings.
• Local taxes may apply on top of the listed prices.

Refunds and tokens

• Outside the EU and UK, refunds must be requested within 24 hours of payment; after that, there’s no refund.
• EU and UK users have a separate statutory withdrawal right (section 10.4.3 of the Terms).
• A refund or chargeback cancels the purchase immediately and revokes Premium access and any remaining tokens.
• When a subscription ends, remaining tokens expire. Tokens can’t be transferred, traded or cashed out.

Privacy basics

• Use a separate email. A dedicated inbox keeps sign-up mail and receipts out of your main account.
• Check your statement. If discreet billing matters to you, look at how the first charge shows up on your card statement. We don’t publish a billing descriptor because we can’t guarantee it.
• Keep real details out of chats. Treat AI chats like any online service: no real names, addresses or photos of real people.
• Lock it down. Use a password you don’t use anywhere else, and log out on shared devices.

The real danger: copycat sites

Most “Candy AI scam” stories have nothing to do with candy.ai itself. Is Candy AI worth it? Who should use it

Candy AI is worth it if you want story-driven AI porn and NSFW chat in one place, and you’ll stay long enough for the annual plan to make sense. It’s a weaker fit if you want everything unlocked for one flat fee.

Good fit if you:

• Like your porn with a plot, in 1 to 3 minute bites on your phone.
• Are a fan of Riley Reid, Mia Malkova, Asa Akira or the other stars with licensed digital twins.
• Want NSFW chat, 18+ images and your own custom AI girlfriend under one account.
• Don’t mind paying $47.88 up front for a year.

Skip it if you:
